A24 released the trailer of the Paul Rudd AND Tim Robinson dark comedy FriendshipWhich will tell an embarrassing story about being friendship and then without friendship.
A24 describes this film as “a nightmare comedy with laughter on the male bond that went wrong”.
In the film, “When an incorrect delivery attracts the peripheral dad Craig Waterman (Robinson) in the orbit of his mysterious and charismatic new near Austin Carmichael (Rudd).
“A sweet bromance seems to blossom on an innocent evening of urban exploration, punk rock and mutual appreciation for the Paleolithic antiquities.
“But what should have been the beginning of a beautiful friendship is soon around while Craig’s obsessive personality begins to alienate his new friend, later inducing a spiral that threatens to overturn Craig’s entire life.”
The film was directed by Andrew Deyoung, who is making his debut to the direction, and is also interpreted Kate MaraAND Jack Dylan Grazer.
The film seems to bring the audience to a fun, strange and rabbral lap. The film will be released in selected theaters starting from May 2025.
