A photo of the first look was released from the next third film in the writer/director Rian Johnson’S Hit Series of films, entitled Dead Man awake: A Knives Out Mystery.
The image presents the return detective Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craigas well as the newcomer Josh O’Connor. The couple is standing in a cathedral and Craig’s Blanc is showing off a new longer hairstyle.
The details of the plot for the film – whose title comes from an U2 song in the 1997 “pop” album – have not been revealed.
The film presents the return of the southern detective Benoit Blanc, played by Craig in his “most dangerous case”, combined with a cast of suspects all-stars including O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack AND Thomas Haden Church.
The autonomous sequel follows 2019 Hit and 2022 Glass onion: a mystery of guilt.
Wake up Dead Man It will be released on Netflix and in the cinemas some time by the end of the year.
