It is not a secret that Sony’s Marvel Live-action films have fought to conquer fans and critics. From Morbius TO Madame WebThese films have become better known for their moments worthy of memes than cinematographic results.

And now, with Kraven the hunter Officially in nature, the Internet discovered yet another disconcerting choice that screams “lazy cinema”.

Kraven the hunter He was already condemned from the beginning, failing to provide a aging story or characters. But one scene in particular became the final joke of a joke that the film did not intend to tell.

Late in the film, there is a fundamental conversation between Kraven and Calypso in which they discuss its history of origin, and it is a moment that has clearly suffered some rewrites and heavy shots.

Instead of refining the scene, Sony opted for such an absurd solution that it is difficult to believe … they made a moving mouth and slamming their eyes on what seems to be a fixed image of Ariana Debose’s face.

Yes, this is real. In what should be an emotional exchange, Calypso’s face seems to be considerably out. His mouth moves to combine the dialogue just inserted, his eyes flash innaturally and his chest rises and falls, but is not in tune with his speech.

For those who remember Madame Web’s ADR problems in which Ezekiel Sims of Tahar Rahim often seemed to speak a completely different language, Sony seems happy to slap half -cooked solutions and hope that the public did not notice it.

As one might expect, the fans have roasted this ridiculous scene since hit the digital platforms. This level of cinematographic laziness is an important part of why Sony’s Marvel films constantly bomb at the box office.

Instead of focusing on the quality narration and on the value of production, they seem more interested in precipitating poor content in the hope that people spend money to see a film because it is a movie about a Marvel character.
