Head of the DC studies James Gunn has officially started the production of his next film project, Supergirl: tomorrow’s womanAnd to celebrate, he gave fans a look at the star of the film, Milly AlcockOn the set.
The actress plays Kara Zor-El in a story that adapts the film Supergirl: tomorrow’s woman Tom King and Bilquis Evely comic.
Gunn said in the caption of his post on social media:
“I am excited to see the cameras turn to the Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden on Supergirl, with Craig Gillespie at the helm and the phenomenal @millyalcock as our Kara Zor-El.
“Craig brings an incredible sensitivity to this story, and Milly is in all respects the only #supergirl imagined by @Tomking_ting, @bilquis and Ana Nogueira.”
So far we know that Alcock will join the film David Krumholtz (Oppenheimer) AND Emily Beecham (In the Badlands), who will play the biological mother and father of Kara, Alura and Zor-El, Eva Ridley (3 problem of the body) who will play Ruthye Marye Knoll, Matthias Schoenaerts (The old guard) will interpret the evil Krem of the yellow hills. Aquaman star Jason Momoa He joined the cast like Lobo. Krypto is also expected to play an important role in history.
