Metrograph Pictures has released a trailer for a dark neo-noir thriller titled Gazercentered on a mother suffering from a condition that causes blackouts and distortions in time. The film reminded me of this Christopher Nolan’S I remember.
The film follows “a young mother (co-writer Ariella Mastroianni) who, due to a unique condition that progressively affects her perception of time, is trying to save money for her daughter’s future before it’s too late.
“She takes a risky job from a mysterious woman with a dark past, leading her to become entangled in a tense web of revenge, deceit and murder.”
The film is directed by Ryan J. Sloan and becomes the protagonist Ariella Mastroianni, Marcia Debonis, Renee Gagner, Jack AlbertsAND Tommy Kang.
Sloan and Mastroianni produced the film shot in 16mm. Watch the trailer below. Gazer will be released in theaters on February 21, 2025.
