This week’s retro trailer is for the classic 1993 western Headstone. The reason I’m posting this trailer is because I recently met someone who had never seen the movie before!
So, I pulled out the trailer for them to watch, and after seeing it for the first time in years, I thought I’d share it with you all to remind you how great trailers were in the 90s!
Headstone is a 1993 western film that tells the legendary story of Wyatt Earp (Kurt Russell), his brothers Virgil (Sam Elliott) and Morgana (Bill Paxton), and their ally Doc Holliday (Val Kilmer) as they seek a peaceful life in the booming town of Tombstone, Arizona.
However, the city is plagued by lawlessness, dominated by a violent gang of outlaws known as the Cowboys, led by the menacing Curly Bill Brocius (Boothe Powers) and the deadly Johnny Ringo (Michael Biehn).
After an escalating series of conflicts, the Earps and Hollidays become embroiled in the infamous gunfight at the OK Corral, sparking a larger revenge to restore justice.
