Whenever a Right The series ends, it seems the title character has met his end, but Dexter Morgan, seemingly immortal, or at least extremely resilient, lives on.
This led to another spin-off of the original series, this time appropriately titled Dexter: ResurrectionAND Michael C. Sala he returned to play the cunning and charming serial killer.
Other actors are also said to be joining the new series, viz Peter Dinklage AND Gillian Andersonbut while we wait for confirmation, another member of the original cast has confirmed his involvement in the sequel series.
While talking to a cameo fan, actor Giacomo Remar has confirmed (via Dexter Daily) that he will return as Dexter’s dead father, Harry Morgan in Dexter: Resurrection.
Rumors previously noted that Harry Morgan would return in Dexter: Resurrection, but that was unconfirmed. Remar was absent New blood and was instead replaced by Dexter’s deceased sister Deb, played by Jennifer Carpenter. The character of Remar was often seen in flashbacks and as a sort of conscience or guide to Dexter in the original series.
However, Dexter separated from Harry at the end of season eight, feeling he no longer needed his father to guide him.
However, with Dexter having separated from his sister’s ghost at the end of New Blood and the fact that he has a rather rocky relationship with his son, he may seek his father’s advice once again. And Remar may not be the only beloved actor to return.
According to a recent rumor from CB, actor David Zayas he will return as Angel Batista Dexter: Resurrectionlikely giving fans the confrontation between Angel and Dexter that has been heavily teased New blood.
Can’t wait for Dexter to arrive? Resurrection?
