It looks like Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will appear in AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY

It looks like Daredevil is finally entering the big leagues of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A recent social media post from DFRNT Health and Fitness pretty much confirms this Charlie CoxDaredevil will have a role in the next episode Avengers: Judgment Day.

1. For months, rumors have hinted at Cox’s involvement in the upcoming Avengers films, perhaps as a variant or in a key supporting role. Now it seems those whispers have solidified into something more tangible.

Gym, who trained Cox for his Marvel roles, posted on Instagram:

“It’s been great having Charlie and his wife, Sam Cox, at the DFRNT over the past few weeks! Charlie is currently training for his role in the upcoming @marvel Avengers film, where he will play @daredevil.”

They continued enthusiastically:

“It was a real pleasure working with you both and we can’t wait to see you on the big screen!”

It’s hard to imagine the gym casually making a statement like this, especially with Daredevil: Born Again season 2 is about to begin production. If this confirmation holds true, Daredevil’s inclusion in the Avengers lineup is incredibly exciting.

Cox himself has already played coy about his future in the MCU. Speaking at FanExpo in Chicago earlier this year, he joked:

“I have to be very careful. Look, I can’t! I won’t say it, that’s it [are] so many [characters to team up with]. There’s a particular group of people I’d love to be invited to play with… but we’ll talk about that a bit later!”

Having Daredevil fight alongside Earth’s Mightiest Heroes on the big screen opens up exciting new dynamics for the MCU.

I would definitely love to see Daredevil and Spider-Man fight alongside each other! The inclusion of Matt Murdock certainly promises some exciting storytelling opportunities.

With Daredevil: Born Again Set to premiere on March 4, fans won’t have to wait long to see the next chapter in Cox’s portrayal of the beloved character.

And if this latest report is any indication, the best may be yet to come. Daredevil may finally be making his big screen debut, and the Avengers are about to get a very badass ally.
