Fans are still talking about the film Evilreleased in theaters right before the holidays and immediately became a critical and box office success.
It continues to make a lot of money and the best part is that we don’t have to wait too long to see its second part released so we can watch the final chapters unfold.
As we talk about the next movie and whether we can expect to see Dorothy in the movie, director Jon M. Chu he said in an interview:
“Well, we definitely chose Dorothy. You see her in some of our teasers. How much of Dorothy do you see? I’ll let people… I can’t, I can’t confirm or deny what you see of her.
“I will say that I think it’s important for you, whoever Dorothy is, to try to respect that as much as possible. But do The Wizard of Oz and our movie intersect more than ever in the second movie? 100%.”
If you’ve seen the stage musical, you know that Dorothy makes an appearance and the film has even more time to cover the part of the story that overlaps with The Wizard of Oz. I loved the first one Evil film, and I can’t wait to see how Chu concludes the epic story in the next film.
Evil: forever will be released in theaters on November 21, 2025.
