Netflix has revealed the trailer for its new sports documentary series Aaron Rodgers: Enigma. The documentary focuses on NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ return to the New York Jets and his life off the field, including his advocacy for ayahuasca, which is a psychedelic concoction.
The synopsis for the series reads: “As this year’s NFL season begins, one of the most anticipated stories to unfold in the coming months is that of New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
“After tearing his left Achilles tendon last year in just four offensive snaps in the 2023 season, he spent the last year preparing to return to the field. But games and press conferences can only reveal a small part of the four-time MVP’s story.”
The series consists of three episodes and is co-directed by acclaimed sports directors Gotham Chopra (Stephen against the game, Simone against herself, Passion Play: Russell Westbrook, Man in the Arena, Greatness Code, The Sessions: Draymond Green, McGregor Forever, In the arena: Serena Williams) AND Liam Hughes (NBA Destination: AG League Odyssey).
Netflix will make its debut Aaron Rodgers: Enigma on December 17, 2024.
