Dread has released the trailer for an indie vampire horror thriller titled Exchangewhich is described as “a twisted tale of vampires living a life of blood and debauchery”.
The film comes with the tagline: “Fifty Shades Freed.” The story follows a young couple who “are lured into the clutches of a 500-year-old bloodthirsty vampire; the exotic stranger tries to convince them to swap partners and join his species.
The film was directed by Dallas King, who said: “Dread in bed with Swap is a perfect match, ripe for those who love a tantalizing vampire story whose origins stem from what happens to bored couples behind closed doors.
“Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Swap brings a new take on the vampire origin story. Leave the wooden stakes at home and, instead, find a safe word for this cavalcade of debauchery.”
Dread adds: “This isn’t your typical leech story; it’s bold, provocative and unforgettable. We hope audiences are ready to experience something boldly different in horror.”
It seems like they really love what they have here with this movie, but it really doesn’t seem that interesting to me.
The film stars Jessica Leila Greene, James Eastwood, Erin Anne Gray, Dallas King. It is currently available to watch on VOD.
