The news comes just over a week after the series premiered and appears to be doing very well in the ratings. The day of the jackal was No. 1 on Peacock’s top 10 most watched this week and was among the top five streaming originals in the US for its opening weekend.
The series is based on Frederick Forsyth novel, and in the story: “After his last kill, he meets his match in a tough British intelligence officer (Lashana Lynch) who begins hunting the Jackal in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, leaving destruction in his wake.

I’ve only seen the first episode so far, but it looks like it’s going to be a solid show! It won me over and I’m on board.
It’s also in the cast Ursula Corberó, Carlo Danza, Riccardo Dormer, Chukwudi Iwuji, Leah Williams, Khalid Abdalla, Eleonora Matsuura, Jonjo O’Neill AND Sule Rimi.
