Bandai Namco has revealed a new action figure that sees Mickey Mouse transforming into the Gundam mech. This is a part of the company’s sub-brand known as Tamashii Nation.
The Mickey Mouse Gundam was created by Kunio Okawara, the designer of the VOTOMS anime series and an important figure in the Gundam universe. he helped design numerous original Gundam mechs including the original suit and the Zaku II.
Okawara also talked about the creation of Mickey Mouse’s mech, called the “Chogokin Super Change Mickey Mouse” robot.
He explained: “Since there are many Mickey Mouse fans around the world, I didn’t want to interfere with his visual design. From the front, I made it look as close to its original appearance as possible, and I got really excited thinking about how to transform it.”
