Washington added: “People love those daggones Equalizers. But I came to understand that the Equalizer Films are also for me, because they are for people.
“They want me to go get the bad guys. “We can’t get them for you, so you go get them.” And I say: okay, I’ll take them! Wait right there. I’ll be right back!”
He hasn’t offered any details on the films and the studio has yet to confirm they’re officially in development, but Washington obviously knows what he’s talking about and it’s great to see him excited to get back into the world of movies. The equalizer franchising.
