Netflix revealed that singer and actress Lady Gaga has joined the cast of their hit drama series Wednesday in its second season. No details about the role have been revealed, but it has been confirmed that Gaga has landed in Europe and filming is underway.
The series, which began in 2022 with a huge following, follows the life of young Wednesday Addams, of the Addams Family, through her formative years as a student and budding psychic.
At the Golden Globes in January 2023, Ortega revealed that he wanted Gaga to join the show’s second season and even outlined a potential plot for the film. Gucci House star.
“I’m sure Netflix would love it,” Ortega said Variety at the moment. “I think Ms. Thornhill and Wednesday had this weird mentor relationship or they understood each other in a certain way, so if Lady Gaga were to be a part, I think it would have to be two monsters who understand each other.”
We’ll just have to wait and see how his prediction came true. Wednesday Season 2 will debut in 2025.
