During Disney’s D23 Bazil event this past weekend, a new trailer debuted What if…? Season 3 and that trailer is now available on YouTube for fans to watch!
The trailer is full of exciting new footage that teases the crazy stories we can expect to see from the series in its final season.
The Marvel animated series returns for its climactic adventure across the multiverse. “Watch as classic characters make unexpected choices that transform their worlds into spectacular alternate versions of the MCU.
“The Observer (Jeffrey Wright) will guide viewers as the series crosses new genres, bigger shows, and incredible new characters.
The series features an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars reprising their iconic roles. The new season features characters such as Captain America/Sam Wilson, The Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes, Hulk/Bruce Banner, The Red Guardian, Captain Peggy Carter, Agatha Harkness, Shang-Chi and Storm the Goddess of Thunder.
Other characters include Shang-Chi, Howard the Duck, Moon Knight, Ironheart, and White Vision.
The episodes are directed by Bryan Andrews AND Stephan Franck and are written by Matthew Chauncey, Ryan PiccoloAND AC Bradley.
Executive producers are Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Luigi D’Esposito, Dana Vasquez-EberhardtAND Bryan Andrews.
When talking about the series at the event, What if…?Brian Andrews said: “As you go through seasons one and two, what you learn is how much the fans love these characters and these stories. It gave us a lot of fuel.
He goes on to say that they are trying to make big swings and play in different genres: “We learned that we can make big swings. The wilder and crazier the What If…? obtained, the better the answer will be. We really play with the shots. A little Western stuff, a little robot stomp stuff.”
