AGATHA ALL ALONG creator talks series’ surprising ending, and there’s more to explore

Agata always ended just before Halloween, giving us an open-ended conclusion to the series that suggests we haven’t seen the last of Billy (Joe Locke). If you haven’t finished watching the series yet, spoilers ahead.

While Billy sets out to find his brother Tommy, with the ghost of Agatha (Kathryn Hahn) in tow. We probably haven’t even seen the last of it Aubrey Square like Death, or Sasheer Zamata as Jennifer Kale.

Speaking of the surprising ending, which saw Agatha give up her life in exchange for that of Tommy, the show’s creator, Jac Schaefferhe told Marvel’s official website:

“It wasn’t about killing off the character. It was about the evolution of this character: What’s her next phase? I still feel like there’s a lot of ground to explore with Agatha as the ghost. Get ready.”

Schaeffer previously told Entertainment Weekly: “I can’t talk about the direct transition to the Vision show. But I think people should expect more of Billy and Agatha somewhere in the MCU.

“I don’t know what’s going on with that show, and I just wish them well. I love Paul Bettany so deeply and can’t wait to see what they do.”

I’m also excited for the future of these characters. WandaVision AND Agata always have been my favorite shows in the MCU and I can’t wait to see what’s next for Vision, as well as Agatha and Billy. How would you like to see them used in Marvel in the future?
