Isabel Maywho starred in Taylor Sheridanthe western series of 1883will join the upcoming revenge thriller film Wild world.
The film follows “a young woman who must use her survival skills to track down her little sister and take revenge on the men who kidnapped her.”
The film will be directed by the husband and wife duo Aron Gaudet AND Pullapilly trip (Queenpins, under the harvest sky) and is based on the screenplay they wrote.
May gave an incredible performance in 1883 and I don’t remember seeing her in any other film since, so it’s nice to see her get a major role in a film.
She is also set to star in another sci-fi horror film titled Threat. In that film, May plays “a research student who has a psychotic break and is placed in the custody of her aunt and uncle in a small town.
“When strange things start happening around her and people start disappearing, she’s not sure what’s real or what’s her imagination.”
Wild world production is expected to begin in autumn/winter 2025 in Australia.
