A new one Tron the video game project was announced Tron: catalyst and you can watch an announcement trailer for the game below.
The game is billed as a “story-driven, isometric action-adventure game.” While the game looks fun, it’s not AAA Tron the game fans were hoping for.
TRON: Catalyst “takes you back to the world of Disney Tron to battle multiple opposing factions in the latest imaginative story from Bithell Games (Thomas Was Alone, Subsurface Circular, TRON: Identity).
“Tron: catalyst is an all-new, story-driven, isometric action-adventure game set in the immersive and diverse locations of Arq Grid introduced in Tron: Identity.“
The official game description continues: “Play as Exo, a highly resilient and resourceful program who wields an unexpected power known as Glitch, gaining strength and abilities that the overlords of the crumbling Arq Grid corporation seek to keep in check.
“Climb Cycles of Light, engage in combat with the Identity Disc, and more as you are relentlessly pursued through the city and beyond by Conn, a malevolent program with an agenda of its own, while uncovering more of the issues that threaten stability of this world.”
The game is published by Big Fan Games and developed by Bithell Games, responsible for games like Tommaso was alone, John Wick’s misfortune, Volume, The Solitaire Conspiracyand more.
The game will arrive on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS5, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. It will be released in 2025.
