AGATHA ALL ALONG Showrunner Jac Schaeffer Responds to SCARLET WITCH Movie Rumors

There have been reports that Marvel Studios is currently developing a solo Scarlet Witch film with WandaVision AND Agatha for life producer and writer, Jac Schaeffer assigned to write and direct the film.

It has also been reported that he is working on the script with Megan McDonnell (Captain Marvel) and that Elizabeth Olsen will return to reprise her role.

During the Agatha for life At the screening event, Variety caught up with Schaeffer and asked her about the film; she said she’s “crossing her fingers” for a Wanda-centric feature.

Asked why it was not possible to discuss any aspect of the project with the press, Schaeffer laughed and replied, “Not now!”

While Marvel Studios hasn’t confirmed this project yet, I’d bet it will happen. Scarlet Witch is such an interesting and compelling character to play with in the MCU and I’d personally love to see her story continue.

The last time we saw Scarlet Witch was in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesswhen she went on a multiverse killing spree. She seemingly died at the end of the film by destroying every copy of the Darkhold and causing a mountain to collapse on itself.

It wouldn’t surprise me if we saw her appear in the Vision series and that whatever happens in that series could lead to a solo movie, but that’s just my speculation.

Elizabeth Olsen She recently said that she would be happy to return to the character again, stating: “It’s a character that I love to return to when there’s a way to use it well, and I think I was lucky because when I first started out I was used well.

“I think for a second people didn’t know what to do with me… if there’s a good way to use it, I’m always happy to come back.”
