James Gunn’s SUPERMAN is said to be “a complete crossover into hardcore sci-fi and fantasy”

Some interesting new details have emerged regarding James GunnDC Studios Project by Supermanwhich excites and intrigues many fans.

Before we dive into the new information, we know that this film will tell the story of “Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas.”

“He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way of life, guided by human kindness in a world that considers kindness an antiquated habit.”

The following insight into the film comes from Hollywood scooper Daniel Richtman, who heard that Superman It’s “fantastic” and he calls it “a complete crossover into hardcore sci-fi and fantasy, the exact opposite of Man of Steel.”

He added: “It’s set in a world that’s very different from ours and very far from the DCEU. The heroes have been around for centuries and we’ll see how they’ve influenced the history of this world and shaped the DCU.”

“The DCU will feature multiple projects set in multiple timelines, not just the present. So it’s more in line with the Star Wars approach than the Marvel one.”

I actually really like this concept and it’ll be fun to see how Gunn handles this and brings it to life. It’s definitely an interesting DC world for Gunn and the other filmmakers he brings in to explore and play in, a world where “heroes have been around for centuries.”
