Hayden Panettiere is set to star in a survival horror thriller titled A breed apartThe film is a remake of the film produced by Wes Craven The raceand it is explained that “the film is more precisely a sort of sequel and is set after the events of the first film.
A breed apart sees “a pack of dogs run away during the making of a fictional film The race 2 film while filming on a remote island.
“Years later, a group of YouTubers are drawn to the island to try to find the dogs in a project they hope will go viral, the brainchild of influencer Vince Venture, played by Bragg.
“The reality is that they are in a fight for survival and each of the influencers must use their own unique skills to stay alive.”
It is not yet known who will play Panettiere in the film. The actress is known for her roles as Claire Bennet in HeroesKirby Reed in the slasher franchise Cry and Juliette Barnes in Nashville.
The rest of the cast includes Joey Bragg, Gentle Troy, Riele Downs AND Kennedy PageThey join those already announced Virginia Gardner AND Grace Caroline Currey.
Brothers Griffin AND Mr. Nathan are directing and producing the film under their Curmudgeon Films banner. Daro Film Distribution is co-producing and financing. The film is scheduled for release in 2025.
