This week’s retro trailer is for the 1987 sci-fi film Time HuntersThe film tells the story of a history professor who bonds with two time travelers from the year 2586 after making a discovery in an old photograph from 1886.
History professor Dr. Scott McKenzie, played by William Devaneinadvertently finds himself drawn into a time-traveling adventure. After discovering an old photograph of a man wielding a futuristic weapon, Scott realizes something is wrong.
His curiosity leads him to meet a time traveler named Georgia, played by Lauren Hutton, who reveals that she came from the future to stop an evil criminal named Dr. Joseph Cole (Klaus Kinski) to alter the course of history. Cole, a rogue scientist, has stolen a weapon from the future and plans to change the past for his own gain.
As Scott and Georgia join forces to chase Cole through time, they will face numerous challenges and obstacles in an attempt to prevent the timeline from being altered.
The film has fun mixing elements of the Old West with futuristic sci-fi concepts. Watch the trailer below!
