Here’s the trailer for the 80’s wrestling horror film Dark Correspondencewhich has as protagonists Chris Jericho.
In Dark Correspondence“A small wrestling company takes a high-paying but too-good-to-be-true gig in a remote town, only to discover, too late, that the community is run by a mysterious cult leader… and their event is now a pay-per-view, bloody match.”
The film was written and directed by Principal Lowell (Wolf Policeman), who stated in a note: “When I wrote Dark Correspondence I wondered if it was too crazy to make, but within a few months I was on set in Edmonton, with a hard-working cast and crew, all pouring their (fake) blood and sweat into the wrestling ring to bring it to life.”
The film also features actors Ayisha Issa (Transplant) AND Steven Ogg (Grand Theft Auto V, The Walking Dead), with the wrestling legend Chris Jericho (Terrifying 2).
The film recently had its world premiere at Fantasia Film Festival.
