This weekend saw the D23 convention and a lot of exciting announcements were made, including a new Disney+ TV series titled Dream Productions.
The show is set in the world of Inside and out franchise, and will be set between the first and second films. Pixar’s Pete Doctor announced that the show will be “set in the studio where Riley’s dreams are made real every night, on time and on budget.”
Pixar also presented the audience with some footage of Joy giving a tour of the studio and explaining to viewers how a dream comes true.
The environment is exactly as chaotic as you might imagine, as emotions try to realize Riley’s “dream of the next big thing.”
This project marks another series in development at Disney+ based on a Pixar property with Monsters, Inc. show Monsters at work which also appears on the streamer. The second season premiered earlier this year on Disney+.
Check out the social media announcement below and let us know if you’re excited to read this new series.
