Wake Up Deadman: A Knives Out Mystery He recently started filming and acting Cailee Spaeny (Alien: Romulus) recently spoke about his experience working with the writer and director Rian JohnsonHe has nothing but praise for the director.
In a recent interview with Total Film, Spaeny describes Johnson as a “rare breed” of director. She also appreciates his “old school” approach to filmmaking and says she’s “terrified” to share scenes with the likes of Daniel Craig and Glenn Close.
The actress said: “Rian is a very rare breed. You don’t find directors like him anymore. The intelligence… equal parts intelligence, and the ability to say something, and also pure entertainment, and a director who seems very old-school in the way he speaks the language of a director.
“Everything about him, he’s made to do this. We’re already in the preparation phase, and everything is happening. And I just went there today. Everyone seems in good spirits.
“I haven’t met the rest of the cast, but I’m both terrified and ecstatic to be working with this group of people, because they’re top-notch. They’re the crème de la crème of acting. So I feel very honored to be a part of it and I hope I do a good job!”
The rest of the cast includes Dr. Jeremy Renner, Patricia Washington, Actor, Mila Kunis, Thomas Haden Church, Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Andrea ScottoAND Daniel Craigwho will return to play the world-famous detective Benoit Blanc.
