As a ticket for Tim Burton’s World’S Beetle Juice Beetle Juice on sale, a playful new trailer has been released that fans are sure to appreciate. The tone of the trailer is set early on with the classic Richard Marx song, “Right Here Waiting.”
The trailer also features some fun new scenes, and fans are eager to see them. michelle keaton to go back to playing Beetlejuice after all these years.
In the film, “After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still obsessed with Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the city in the attic and the portal to the afterlife is accidentally opened.”
“With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time before someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his own brand of mayhem.”
Keaton is joined by actress like Lydia Deetz, Catherine O’Hara like Delia Deetz, with new cast members Justin Theroux (Leftovers), Monica Bellucci (Spectre, the Matrix movies), Arthur Conti (House of the Dragon), Jenna Ortega (Wednesday, Scream VI) like Lydia’s daughter, Astrid, and Willem Dafoe’s World like a B-movie action star who died and became a police officer in the afterlife.
Burton explained what drew him to tell this story, saying, “I identified with Lydia’s character so much, but then you come all these years later, and you go through your journey, going from a cool teenager to a nerdy adult, back and forth. That made it exciting, that gave it a grounding. So that was the thing that really drew me in.”
Alfred Gough AND Miles Millar (Wednesday AND Small Villa) wrote the screenplay along with an earlier draft of Seth Grahame Smith AND David KatzenbergKatzenberg and Grahame-Smith are also producers. Danny Elfman returns to compose the soundtrack.
Beetle Juice Beetle Juice will be released in theaters on September 6, 2024.
