We all know it Deadpool and Wolverine It will be chock-full of cameos. So many characters and actors are rumored, and fans are eager to see who will end up appearing in the film.
During a recent interview with Weekly showdirector by Shawn Levi he talked about his cameo strategy, saying, “We didn’t want any of the cameos or characters to be the story of the movie. But they’re sprinkled in here and there.”
He added: “There are a lot of characters. The Internet is a delight of rumors about the multitude of character cameos that are in this film. Some of the rumors are true, some are completely off the mark.”
Levy continued: “Wade himself is a fan. Without giving anything away about the different universes that the different characters live in. Because he’s kind of a sycophantic, chatty little fanboy himself, it allows the movie to call back and reference a lot of deep Marvel references.”
One of the confirmed cameos includes Aaron Stanfordthe actor who played Pyro in X2 AND X-Men: The Last StandStanford spoke about his return to the role, saying, “I was just really happy to have a costume.”
He continued: “In the original X-Men movies, Pyro gets really overlooked in terms of costume. In X2, we start with Pyro in Xavier’s School for Gifted Mutants. The SWAT team breaks in in the middle of the night and we have to escape. So for half the movie, I’m in my pajamas.”
The actor added: “I’ve never had the cool leather tactical suit that all the X-Men wear. And in X3, I was in a Hot Topic suit, basically. So to have him in a real superhero costume that was actually from the comics themselves was really cool.”
Marvel Studios presents their most significant blunder to date – “Deadpool and Wolverine. An apathetic Wade Wilson struggles in civilian life.
“His days as the morally flexible mercenary Deadpool are behind him. When his home planet faces an existential threat, Wade must once again don an even more reluctant… reluctant? Very reluctant?
“He has to convince a reluctant Wolverine to – Fuck you. Synopses are so fucking stupid.”
The film’s existential threat is Cassandra Nova, the evil twin sister of X-Men Professor Charles Xavier, who poses a threat to the multiverse.
This whole story will lead Deadpool to change the history of the MCU as he and Wolverine traverse the multiverse in a crazy adventure.

They join them Brianna Hildebrand AND Shioli Kutsunawho will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend, Yukio. It was previously confirmed that actress Jennifer Garner will return in the film as Electra.
Deadpool and Wolverine will hit theaters on July 26th!
