The film is the protagonist Bob Hoskins like Mario and John Leguizamo as Luigi, two plumbers from Brooklyn who find themselves in a parallel universe called Dinohattan, a dystopian city ruled by the tyrannical King Koopa, played by Dennis Hopper.
The brothers embark on a mission to rescue Princess Daisy, played by Samantha Mathis, who holds the key to uniting the worlds of humans and dinosaurs.
