Actor David Port shared a photo of a Red Guardian poster along with the news that it has finished production on the next Marvel film Lightning*.
The film follows Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), United States Agent (Wyatt Russell), Ghost (by Hannah John Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), Countess Valentina Allegra De Fontaine (Giulia Louis Dreyfus) and Sentinel (Lewis Pullman)
Then there is the Red Guardian (David Port), The Winter Soldier (Sebastiano Stan), AND Harrison Ford He plays General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, President of the United States in Captain America: New World Order. Ayo Edebiri is also a cast member in an undisclosed role.
It was previously reported that Lightning* it’s “just a sequel to Black Widow in the same way Civil war it was a sequel to Captain America… Yelena handles the remains of the Red Room and then gets distracted with Lightning*.”
The film is directed by Jake Schreier (Paper Towns, joke) and it was written by Eric Pearson (Thor: Ragnarok, Black Widow) AND Kurt Busiek.
Lightning* is currently scheduled for theatrical release on July 25, 2025. But knowing that production has wrapped, and with the news that Marvel will be returning to San Diego Comic-Con,
