Tom Hardy comments on the possible return to MAD MAX for the prequel to George Miller’s THE WASTELAND

maximum maximum Creator George Miller he has another prequel film in mind that he would like to make called The wasteland. The film would tell the story of “what happened to Max the year before we met Way of Fury.”

When I write Way of FuryMiller and the writers wrote everything about what happened to Max during that time, and it seems like it would be a completely new story to tell!

Tom Hardy was recently asked in an interview about the possibility of working with Miller again to reprise his Mad Max: Road Fury role in the potential film and has made it clear that he is not interested.

Hardy told Forbes, “I don’t think that’s happening.” As we all know, we are working on it Way of Fury it wasn’t a pleasant experience for many people because Hardy was difficult on set.

Miller had already spoken about this and the work with Hardy: “They were simply two very different artists. Tom has damage but also a brilliance that comes with it, and whatever was going on with him at the time, he had to be coaxed out of his trailer.

“Whereas Charlize was incredibly disciplined – a trained dancer, which was reflected in the precision of her performance – and always the first on set.”

The director also said that after the issue with Hardy was addressed, things improved, adding: “I’m an optimist, so I saw their behavior as a mirror of their characters, where they had to learn to cooperate to ensure the mutual survival.

“There’s no excuse for that, and I think there’s a tendency in this industry to use great performance as an excuse for other disruptions that could be avoided.”

As for whether Miller will actually get the chance to make another Mad Max movie, he said that’s something we’ll have to “wait and see.”

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga didn’t do as well at the box office as the studio hoped, so who knows what will happen to the future of the franchise. I hope Miller can make another one Mad Max movie!
