THE BOYS showrunner reveals One Thing Prime video asked him to tone it down for season four

The boys Season 4 recently premiered on Prime Video and fans seem to be loving it. I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet, but I will watch it later tonight.

Anyway, the showrunner of the series Eric Kripke recently revealed that Prime Video asked him to tone down one thing in season four, and apparently they have to watch out for bestiality.

With all the crazy and crazy things this show has done over the last three seasons, the thing they asked Kripke to tone down is not what I expected.

Kripke previously said that he was given free rein to include whatever he wanted in the show, and even if that’s the case, here’s what he said:

“Funny enough, the only thing they said to me the whole season was – and we weren’t going to do this anyway – was ‘Could you, maybe, not have The Deep fucking an octopus in so many scenes?’

“Because bestiality is a really tricky line by standards. They said, ‘We’re not saying you can’t do it. We’re just saying, can you be a little more elegant in how you portray it?'”

I think it’s funny that they just wanted it to be a little more elegant in depicting the Abyss fucking an octopus. There is nothing elegant about this!

Kripke goes on to tease that fans have yet to see this season’s “craziest” moment, saying:

“It’s a moment where I honestly couldn’t believe it happened. I think you could walk away from it with a thousand-yard stare, you’ll just have to see it.”

So, I guess fans should get out the sanitizer and prepare for their eyes at some point while watching the final season! It’s going to be crazy!

Kripke previously teased that this season “could be the craziest thing we’ve ever done? Like I really can’t believe we got away with it.

In season four, “The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscular thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating her power.

“Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son and his job as leader of the Boys. The rest of the team is fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they must find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”

The series is the protagonist Carlo Urbano, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, Cameron Crovetti, Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, AND Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
