Head of DC and director James Gunn has announced a newcomer for the second season of its series Pacifier. Saturday evening live alum Tim Pratialso known for his roles in It means girls AND The Goldbergs, will take on the role of ARGUS agent Langston Fleury. The character appears to be James Gunn’s original creation for the show, but we should know more as the season gets closer.
Gunn announced the casting news in the Instagram post you can check out below, which features Gunn and Meadows pictured alongside Pacifier star Steve Agee (ARGUS Agent John Econoos) apparently on the set of the series.
John Cena is back in the new season and is joined by Franco Grillowho is new to the show, but will reprise his DC role of Rick Flag Sr. The rest of the show’s cast includes Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Chukwudi Iwuji, Steve AgeeAND Roberto Patrizio.
Gunn will direct some episodes of the show on weekends while he is filming Superman. There are also three other directors who will work on the show.
There are no details on the Season 2 story, but Gunn teased his future cameos, saying, “I think we’ll see more connections in other things as we move forward with Peacemaker and other shows on HBO Max.
“So those [cameos] it will keep coming. I don’t know if the Justice League will appear in every season of Peacemaker; it could be a one-off thing. We will see!”
Pacifier stars Cena and follows the wild and action-packed adventures of Peacemaker, a vainglorious man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to achieve it.
