The next horror-thriller film Long legs it looks like it will deliver a dark, twisted and disturbing story. I liked the crazy trailers that were released because they do a great job of teasing the tone of the film without revealing much about the story.
We haven’t even seen a full glimpse of it Nicolas Cagethe occult serial character in the movie! They’re saving it for people who go out and watch the movie.
The director of Long Legs Oz Perkins recently talked about Cage in the film and joked that the actor is unrecognizable. It will be really interesting to see what Cage does with this role.
Perkins said: “We got the character’s voice, the character’s look, the attitude. What references will Nic use in terms of people in his life or other actors? He’s very outspoken and draws a lot from other people. . So what other person will do?”
He continued: “When he arrives on set he is unrecognizable. He doesn’t look like himself, he doesn’t walk like himself. So you have this element, like wind or fire, but your character is Nicolas Cage.”
It’s also in the cast Maika Monroe (Continued) as Lee Harker, a talented new FBI agent assigned to an unsolved serial killer case.
In the film, “As the case takes complex turns, unearthing evidence of the occult, Harker discovers a personal connection to the ruthless killer and must race against time to stop him before he claims the lives of another innocent family.”
Long legs it is said to be “in the vein of classic Hollywood psychological thrillers” and early reviews have compared it to the classic 90s thriller The silence of the lambs.
The film was written and directed by Oz Perkins (Gretel and Hansel) and will be released on July 12, 2024.
