Mark Duplass revisits the CREEP films with the horror series THE CREEP TAPES

Actor and creator Marco Duplass announced today that it has completed production The Creep Tapesa half-hour horror TV series based on the Netflix original films Creeping AND Frizz 2, in which he starred. Duplass revealed the series on social media in a cryptic post with no sound and just the words “Coming Soon” at the end.

The series was produced independently by Duplass Brothers Productions. The company is introducing the series to buyers, while CAA handles worldwide sales. The Creep Tapes stars Duplass and is written and created by Duplass and the director of the original films, Patrick Bricewho also directed all episodes of the series. Chris Donlon he is both editor and EP of the project.

Duplass said of the project:

“The series is based on a collection of videotapes stored in secret vaults in the deadliest and most socially disadvantaged areas of the world.” serial killer, who hires his victims to film him for the day under false pretenses. Each episode exposes a new victim from one of the legendary ‘Creep Tapes.'”

Along with Mark Duplass, the series was produced by Jay Duplass and Mel Eslyn for Duplass Brothers Productions.

The first film, Creeping in 2014, it was filmed as found footage. In it, Brice plays a videographer tasked with recording an eccentric client, played by Duplass. In the sequel to 2017, Frizz 2Duplass reprises his role in the first serial killer film who lures unsuspecting videographers to their deaths, with Desiree Akhavan depicting his ultimate goal.
