INSIDE OUT TV series based on popular films coming to Disney+ plus other new titles

It was announced this week by Jim Morris, president of Pixar, that an In reverse The TV series is currently in the works on Disney+ and will premiere on the streaming service in 2025. Bloomberg reported that the series will be titled Dream productions and is “set in In reverse Riley’s dream universe.”

2015 In reverse takes place in the mind of 11-year-old Riley, whose anthropomorphized emotions: Joy (Amy Poehler), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Fear (Bill Hader) – operate from the Emotional Headquarters.

Also inside Riley’s brain is Dream Productions, a full-fledged Hollywood studio that produces his dreams and nightmares, as well as fictional films I’m falling into a pit for a long time, I can fly!, Something is chasing me!AND Fairy Dream Adventure – Part 7, starring the Rainbow Unicorn.

It was also announced that Pixar’s first-ever series, Win or lose, is also in development and will follow several players from a little league team on their path to the finals over the course of its eight-episode season. It is expected to arrive on the streamer by the end of the year.

Morris also revealed that Pixar is considering the third installment of his incredible AND Finding Nemo movie franchises for theaters, but the company will wait to see how its first two shows perform before greenlighting future series for Disney+.

Morris told Bloomberg:

“I hope we don’t release another feature film on Disney+. If we do more things for Disney+, it would have to be a series, and that would create a clear demarcation between what we do for theaters and what we do for streaming.”

There was an era when Disney released a lot of new movies on their streaming service instead of theatrical releases, but that was in the midst of the pandemic and when theaters were closed or not yet at full capacity. It makes sense that moving forward, the company will return to theatrical movies before streaming and reserve the service for streaming new series.

I look forward to each of these new projects!
