Prime Video has shared the first teaser trailer for the upcoming thriller series Throughwhich is an adaptation of James Patterson’s Alex Cross novel series.
The series is the protagonist Aldis Hodge (Black Adam, City on a Hill, One Night in Miami) as Cross, a “forensic investigator and psychologist, uniquely capable of delving into the psyches of killers and their victims, in order to identify – and ultimately capture – the killers”.
It is explained that “Cross is brilliant, flawed and full of contradictions. A loving father and family man, Cross is determined to the point of obsession as he hunts down killers. He desperately needs love, but his wife’s murder has left him too damaged to receive it.
The series was created by the producer and writer Ben Watkins (Burn warning. Hand of God) and produced by Paramount Television Studios and Skydance Television.
The cast of the series also includes Isaiah Mustafa, Darnell Bartholomew, Ashley Rios, Stacie Greenwell, Siobhan Murphy, Sharon Taylor, Mercedes de la Zerdaas well as Jennifer Wigmore as Chief Anderson.
This looks like it could be a great series! It looks like the story will go into some dark, gory and intense corners of crime.
Prime Video will premiere Cross starting in 2024.
