A new report has surfaced that claims Black Panther director Ryan Coogler has signed on to direct a third Black Panther film. But the rumors don’t end there, as Marvel Studios is also said to want him to direct X-Men restart.

Ryan Coogler has made some fantastic films in his career, but the Black Panther films aren’t his best work. In any case, he enjoys making these films, and has said that he will return “as long as people want me.”
During a previous interview, Coogler spoke about the possibility of returning to the franchise, saying, “I feel lucky to have the opportunity to work on these movies, brother.
“When I was asked to do the first one, it was like a moving train. I thank God every day that I was able to jump on it and meet these people, these actors, and meet Chadwick during some of the last years of his life.
“I’ll do it as long as people want me. But I think she’s bigger than me or Joe. Between the first and second film we made $2 billion at the box office, which is the most important thing for companies.
“So I hope it continues, man. I hope people continue to make movies about Wakanda long after we’re gone.”
