THE foreigner prequel series Blood of my blood has added six new actors to its cast, and these include Sally Messham (A little light, Raoul’s Moat Hunt) as Mrs. Fitz, Ellen’s maid at Castle Leoch and Murtagh’s aunt.
She was joined by Terence Rae (The Cyclops, Black Dog) as Arch Bug, who works as a bodyguard for the Grant Clan in the prequel; AND Sadhbh Malin (Conversations with friends, I love Rosie) as Jocasta Cameron, the youngest daughter of the MacKenzie clan.
It’s also in the cast Ailsa Davidson (Heathers, Halo) as Janet MacKenzie, the fifth MacKenzie sister; Annabelle Dowler (The showdown, It takes two) as Lizbeth, Julia’s boss at the War Department; AND Harry Eaton (Extraordinary, Eastenders) as Private Charlton, Henry Beauchamp’s comrade and friend.
As previously announced, the series will explore the lives of Claire’s parents, Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine), and Jamie’s parents, Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy).
Production on the series is currently underway in Scotland. Blood of my blood will consist of 10 episodes in the first season.
