Brutal fury is unleashed in the trailer for Netflix’s GAROUDEN: THE WAY OF THE LONE WOLF anime

Netflix has released the trailer for a new action-packed anime series titled Garouden: The Way of the Lone Wolf. As you’ll see, the trailer teases some brutally violent fight sequences.

The project is based on a series of novels written by Baku Yumemakura launched in 1985. Over the years, the novels have been adapted into manga, feature films, and even video games. This will be the first time it gets the anime treatment.

In the series, “On the run from a past crime, Juzo Fujimaki is blackmailed into participating in an illicit tournament and must face top martial artists in deadly matches.”

Juzo is trying to hold back the ferocious wolf within him, but he ultimately unleashes fury and ferociously fights himself to death in the other fights he faces.

Atsushi Ikariya he is directing the series and also designed the characters Momoko Kawai for NAZ with Daisuke Mataga covering the role of assistant director. Sadayuki Murai he worked on the screenplays. Takeshi Ueda will perform the anime’s opening theme song titled “Fight & PRIDE” and the opening theme song titled “CRY BOY”.

The stars of the anime Ryota Takeuchi as Juzo Fujimaki, Tetsu Inada as Bunshichi Tanba, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Tsutomu Himekawa, Rintaro Nishi as Shozan Matsuo, Tessho Genda as Soichiro Izumi, Aya Endo as Saeko Izumi, Ryota Suzuki as Ryoji Kubo, Hidenobu Kiuchi as Fumihito Tamon, Junya Enoki as Tomoyuki Hikita, Yoshimasa Hosoya as Nyoze Carlos Nagato, Junichi Suwabe as Ichiro Shino, Kenjiro Tsuda in the role of Oleg Zaytsev, Shiro Saito in the role of Ranbo, Maki Izawa as Gunso, Yume Miyamoto like Chisaki Shino, and Yuko Kaida as Miyuki Koiso.

Garouden: The Way of the Lone Wolf will premiere on Netflix on May 23.
