Funny trailer for the British comedy A FAMILY AFFAIR

A trailer has been released for the British comedy A family affairhero Joe Wilkinson, Laura AikmannAND Jane Asher. The film is written, directed and produced by Warren Fisher in his first feature film. This has a crazy, zany vibe similar to many other British comedies Death at the funeral. The film’s synopsis reads:

In the film, “Edward and Helen have invested in a picturesque country manor that functions as a quiet “spiritual” retreat, but after months of poor performance and scathing online reviews, the bank threatens to foreclose.

“Unbeknownst to Helen, these threats have culminated in a public auction at the property, which proves to be a hindrance to what was supposed to be a celebration for her parents. Margaret and Walter (Helen’s parents) are celebrating their fortieth wedding anniversary, and Albert (Edward’s father) is “mourning” the recent loss of his wife.

“Complications arise when Albert arrives with a much younger and voluptuous “date” who immediately takes a liking to Walter, believing him to be a rich old man, which he is not. Meanwhile, Edward suspects that some of the guests may actually be buyers.

“She must avoid this threat while trying to appease her difficult mother-in-law, who never seems to have taken a liking to Edward. Luckily Rhys, the resident spiritual guru, brings some calm in the form of a really strong “organic” sedative… And hilarity ensues.
