On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of Ridley Scottthe 1979 sci-fi horror classic Alienthe film will return to theaters for a limited time on Alien Day on April 26.
So if you’ve never had the opportunity to watch Alien on the big screen, the opportunity is coming and you should take advantage of it!
The story is set on the commercial space tug Nostromo, whose crew is awakened from hypersleep to investigate a distress call from a nearby moon. While exploring, they encounter a mysterious alien life form that begins to stalk and kill the crew members one by one.
The film masterfully creates suspense and terror through its claustrophobic setting and the menacing presence of the xenomorphic creature.
Alien stars Sigourney Weaver, Tom Skerrit, Veronica Cartwright, Harry Dean Stanton, John Hurt, Ian HolmAND Yaphet Kotto.
Scott directed the film from a screenplay by Dan O’Bannon and a story of Ronald Shusettand the producers are Gordon Carroll, David Giler, AND Walter hill.
