Alan Ritchson has no desire to star in ‘Marvel films that regurgitate stories you’ve seen a thousand times’

While Reacher star Alan Ritchson campaigned to play Batman for DC Studios, has no desire or interest in joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The actor explains that he’s bored with what they’re doing, saying, “Like everyone else, I sit and yawn at Marvel movies that regurgitate comic book stories we’ve seen a thousand times because they’re the only way the studios They feel like they can make money.”

He went on to tell GQ, “I want to be a solution; I want to do something about it. So I’m using every little leverage I have to create new and compelling stories. That’s my mission.”

He seems to be on that path, and I imagine he feels that Batman would be a different experience than Marvel, even if the character’s story continues to be told again and again. Whatever James Gunn is cooking up for The Brave and the Bold, Ritchson wants in on it.

Batman is obviously a more compelling character to him than any other Marvel hero. Maybe he thinks bashing Marvel will help him get that Batman gig by making sure DC knows where his loyalties lie.

Ritchson has already acted in the world of DC, playing Aquaman Smallville and Falco inside Titans.

The actor is currently filming the third season of Reacher, but we will see him soon Guy Ritchie’S The Ungentlemanly War Officewhich is great!
