After the news of the casting that Giulia Garner will play the Shalla-Bal version of the Silver Surfer in Marvel’s The fantastic Foura new report has emerged confirming that Galactus will be the main villain.

It was pretty obvious that Galactus was going to be the main villain The fantastic Fourbut it will be interesting to see who Marvel ends up playing the role.
It had already been said previously Javier Bardem he was the studio’s top choice for the role, and he’s a compelling choice to play Galactus.
Fantastic Four is currently in development with WandaVision‘S Matt Shakman set to direct the film. He previously teased that this movie will be very different from anything we’ve seen in the MCU, but said, “It’s different in so many ways. I wish I could be specific.”
He added: “I wish I could say more. But we’re doing things very differently from a story perspective, from a cinematic perspective approach, which really suits the material. I wish I could say more. I’d like to, but I can’t. But I think it’s going to be unlike anything you’ve ever seen before, and certainly unlike anything you’ve ever seen in Marvel before.”
Marvel Producer Stefano Broussard he previously promised that the film will be a true celebration of the source material from the comics: “One of the founding principles of Marvel, going back to Iron Man and the casting of Tony that I think has resonated today, is to embrace the source material and these comics that have always existed.
He added: “They’re older than me, and I guess they’re older than you too. I’ve been around a while for a reason, [so we] lean on that.
One of the things we know about the film is that the story is set in the 1960s, which is exciting! Fans are just hoping Marvel knocks him out of the park. We’ve been waiting a long time for something great Fantastic Four movie and I hope they don’t drop the ball!
Movie stars Pedro Pasquale (The last of us) as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible: Showdown) as Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman; Joseph Quinn (Stranger things) as Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch; AND Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Punisher, The Bear) as Ben Grimm, aka The Thing.
The fantastic Fourwill be directed by Matt Shakman (WandaVision) from a screenplay by Josh Friedmanwho was called upon to rewrite the script originally written by Jeff Kaplan AND Ian Springer.
THE Fantastic 4 will be released in theaters on July 25, 2025.
