Vertigo Releasing has shared a trailer for the very strange-looking psychological thriller treasurewhat stars Joseph Quinn (Stranger things) AND Saura Piedeluce Leon.
The film is described as a “fearless, strange and intense psychological drama” and the story follows a troubled teenager who forms an obsessive bond with a mysterious young man in her foster home. The whole thing seems so bizarre.
The description reads: “‘It’s sticky.’ 1984: There’s a landfill in our living room. Mother and Mary’s world seems to sparkle down her spine, Christmas is every day in their love nidus. 1994: He handed her over to me, her weight would come in waves. L Maria’s last day of school. When she arrives home, at the top of the stairs, waiting for her, there are two bare feet. A tall and strange man, a stranger who has a familiar smell of trauma, a childish pain, a Gemini who stings knowledge: Michael.
The film will be released in the UK and Ireland on May 17, 2024. There is currently no US release date yet.
