Rooster Teeth may shut down, but Red versus blue will return for a final chapter. The final season of the series will be released as a titled feature film Red versus Blue: Restorationand the trailer for that film has been released.
Red versus Blue: Restoration is the nineteenth season of the hilarious science fiction comedy series Rooster Teeth, the synopsis reads: “When the greatest villain in the universe returns in a terrifying new form, the old adversaries, the Reds and Blues of Blood Gulch, will have to put aside their differences to save the galaxy one last time.”
The 87-minute film will be available to watch on May 7. You can purchase it for $14.99 from Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, Vudu and other electronic outlets, and available May 21 to rent digitally for $4.99.
For the final chapter of Red versus blueco-creator of the series and co-founder of Rooster Teeth Burnie Burns said in a statement: “I’m thrilled to return for ‘Red vs. Blue: Restoration’ and to conclude this incredible 21-year journey with our longtime fans. Red vs. Blue has been a cornerstone of Rooster Teeth’s legacy and we are immensely proud of what we have accomplished together.
