The Director’s Guild of America brought together the nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in a Theatrical Feature Film to have a conversation about filmmaking.
Among the administrators involved are: Martin Scorsese (The Flower Moon Assassins), Christopher Nolan (Oppenheimer), Greta Gerwig (Barbie), Yorgos Lanthimos (Poor things), AND Alexander Payne (The residues), have fascinating conversations about a wide variety of topics and go into detail about the preparation and production of each of their films.
The event lasts almost two hours and was moderated by Jeremy Kagan. The conversation took place in February at the DGA’s Los Angeles Theatre, before Nolan took home the best director award at the Oscars.
