Seth Rogen AND Evan Goldberg they have reportedly signed on to produce a film adaptation of Eight billion genes for Amazon MGM Studios. The news comes from The InSneider, which also says this Rodney Rothmannwhich he co-wrote and co-directed Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Versewill write the screenplay for Eight billion genes.
Charles Soule AND Ryan Browne they are the creators of Eight billion geneswhich is an eight-issue limited series published by Image Comics in 2022, and it looks like a wild and fun story!
The story summary for the first issue reads: “If you had one wish… what would you wish for? What if everyone else had a wish too? That’s eight billion genes. At exactly the same time, everyone on earth receives a genie and a wish. All hell breaks loose, in a very fun way… and that’s just the beginning. Buckle up for the wildest ride of the year!”
It will make a really interesting film! Amazon bought the adaptation rights Eight billion genes in 2022, and the deal is said to be “significant for the streamer as it involves not just feature films but series and more. The noble mission of the property is to form the basis of a vast cross-media universe, starting with a feature film.”
The film’s producers also include James Weaver, Stephen Feder, Kiri Hart, Soule and Browne.
