Season 2 of THE LAST OF US adds Danny Ramirez and more to the cast

Four new actors have joined the cast of The last of us Season 2. Updated cast includes Danny Ramirez (Top Gun: Maverick, Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Ariela Barer (How to blow up an oil pipeline, Runaways), Tati Gabrielle (You, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), AND Spencer Lord (Riverdale, Family Law).

Ramirez will take on the role of Manny, “a loyal soldier whose sunny gaze belies the pain of old wounds and the fear of disappointing his friends when they need him most.” Barer will play Mel, who is “a young doctor whose commitment to saving lives is tested by the realities of war and tribalism.”

Gabrielle was cast as Nora, “a military doctor struggling to come to terms with the sins of her past.” Then there’s Lord, who will appear as Owen, “a gentle soul trapped in the body of a warrior, condemned to fight an enemy he refuses to hate.”

The series is the protagonist Pedro Pasquale AND Beautiful Ramsey. The story takes place 20 years after modern civilization was destroyed by a deadly virus. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle 14-year-old Ellie out of an oppressive quarantine zone to the Fireflies, a cure-seeking organization. What begins as a small job soon becomes a brutal and harrowing journey, as both must cross the United States and depend on each other for survival.

They also include some of the new cast members Isabela Mercede who will take on the role of Dina in the series, Kaitlyn Deverwho will also take on the role of Abby Beef star The young Mazinowho will take on the role of Jesse.

The last of us is written and produced by Craig Mazin AND Neil Druckmann. Both also directed episodes of the first season and returned to develop the next season.
