Teaser Trailer of the great film THELMA about a grandmother who embarks on her own mission: Impossible

Magnolia has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming action thriller Thelma, which is the best film I saw at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year! This film presents us with an unlikely action hero and offers a fascinating, entertaining and entertaining cinematic experience.

In the film, “Thelma Post is a feisty 93-year-old grandmother who is scammed by a phone scammer pretending to be her grandson and sets out on a treacherous quest across Los Angeles, accompanied by an old friend and his motorized scooter, to reclaim what was taken from her.”

Movie stars June Squibb, in the first leading film role of his 70-year career. She “portrays the strong-willed Thelma with grit and determination, proving that she is more than capable of taking care of business, despite what her daughter Gail, son-in-law Alan or nephew Danny might believe.” of her of the same stunts of her!

The film was written and directed by Josh Margolin and he is also the protagonist Parker Posey as Thelma’s daughter, Clark Gregg as his son-in-law, and Fred Hechinger like his nephew.

Thelma is actually inspired by the director’s grandmother who almost fell victim to a phone scam similar to the one the film is about. So, the movie is what he imagined his grandmother would have made if she had actually been scammed.

Thelma will be released in theaters on June 21st. You can read my review of the film here.
